DDJAY is an affordable plotted-housing policy of the Government of Haryana, introduced in 2016. It allows fully developed residential colonies on smaller plots with all approved infrastructure, independent registry of each plot and permission to build additional floors — which makes a DDJAY plot both a comfortable home and a sound long-term investment.
Plots range from 129.2 to 179.36 sq. yds. at a rate of ₹52,000 per sq. yd., with prices starting at approximately ₹67 lakhs. The complete size-wise breakup, including every instalment, is set out in the Payment Plan table above.
The registration amount is ₹31,000/-. If you are not successful in the allotment, the full amount is refunded without any deduction, and refunds are initiated within 30 working days of the result being declared. If you are allotted a plot, the amount is adjusted against your first instalment.
Allotment is made through a draw of lots under the rules of the Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojna, with 33% of the plots reserved for women and government employees. The draw is scheduled for 26 August 2026, and every applicant is informed of the result by email.

After allotment, payment follows a development-linked plan: 10% at booking, 15% within 45 days, 10% within 120 days and the balance 65% linked to construction progress.
